Through clean energy based companies, he focuses on advancing renewable energy to address critical unmet needs for clients. He is currently Founder and Chairman of several clean energy based companies portfolio companies, including SolarExperts, Grid Energy, Intelli Smart Homes and Envirosolar.
Abe’s passion for clean energy began during the time he owned a real estate investment firm. Clients were asking about energy efficiency and Abe knew the green energy space was in its infancy, inspiring him to dedicate the next chapter of his career to developing innovative businesses for clients whose needs were unmet.
Grid Energy is among the clean energy industry’s most successful company creators, investing millions with its partners to build companies that improve clients lives through clean energy technologies.
Abe and his team at Grid Energy have been recognized for multiple companies on the INC5000 list for growth and impact, an accomplishment of which he is especially proud. He is known for innovating, developing and impacting areas of high need.
Throughout his career, Abe has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including E/Y Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist – Entrepreneur of the Year-Energy by the American Business Awards®, Tech Innovator of the year Gold Stevie Award and a Stevie Award for energy managment-based innovation.

Abe Issa created SolarExperts in 2019 to develop a clean energy sales platform and marketplace to accelerate the sale and adoption of clean energy focused on disrupting the utilities and energy space.
